A4, A6 and Passat Recal

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is recalling 74,000 2003 Audi A4, A6 and Volkswagen Passat because of a problem with electrical components in the fuel pump.

Vehicles with the 1.8 liter turbo charger, 2.8 liter V6 or 3.0 liter engines may suffer a fuel pump failure than can shut off the fuel supply to the engine.

You'll have to wait until March 2006 for the recall. In the meantime, give your service department a call if you have questions.
